The Scope 3 Chapter is focusing on supporting the procurement community to understand the data, collaboration and education journeys companies and suppliers need to go on to measure and monitor decarbonization of themselves and their supply chains.
Our vision is to fast-track understanding and action on decarbonizing supply chain, cascading best practices through the supplier tiers.
Chapter Strategy & Objectives
Focus in 2023 was the digital and data journey and understanding, all recordings can be found on our YouTube playlists. In 2024 we will focus on:
- “Connect & Chat” – pilot topic based “walk-in” sessions to run quarterly
- Supplier engagement Sessions on: Supplier segmentation models, Sourcing, Partnerships and collaboration
- Technical skills Sessions on: LCA, PCF, EPD, CDP/SBTi, Reporting tools
- Practical sourcing examples Either distinct session or integrated as case study in other sessions
